“Great Historic Thai Natural Indigo collaborated with Universal Timeless Style.” Thai Natural Indigo was originated back centuries ago, while timeless Harrington Style Jacket was created in 1930s and has not changed much since. With this concept, Blue Nails has reinterpreted a version of Harrington style jacket integrating Thai Traditional Natural Indigo Hand dyed together with delicate selvedge Egyptian cotton Natural Indigo hand dyed that gives a natural shiny and glossy texture so beautiful like silk, natural ivory nut button natural indigo dip dyed and the iconic styles to craft this timeless piece.
We reinterpreted the classic Harrington Jacket and charm of Thai Traditional Natural Indigo Hand dyed heritage. We orchestrated selvedge machine weave, Tartan Hand weave fabric machine, handknitted machine Rib together with collaborations of teams of local artisans to crafted this Jacket. We are strongly determined to create awareness of Thai Traditional Natural Indigo’s values and its countless potentials to both Thais and foreigners in all generations. We hope to inspire and create passion for everyone to further develop endless creations from Thai Traditional Natural Indigo hand dye and to preserve them sustainably. Also, we would like to be the link between artisans and consumers who share the same interests and believes and to help form community where ideas and meaningful conversations will be borne.
